What is It?
This is the question of the century. Since I created the Exploded Business Card concept a few years ago, people have been asking me “what is it and how can I use it in my business?”
In short, the Exploded Business Card is a fold-over postcard masquerading as many different marketing pieces. By day, it could be your business brochure or mailer. By night, it could be your primary networking tool (you can even affix a traditional business card to the inside) or your first “point of contact, invite them to engage” piece.
Bottom line – because you don’t have to print several different pieces of marketing collateral, it SAVES you money on your bottom line.
The “magic fold” down the center gives you 4 sides to tell your story and how your product or service can benefit your “soon to be favorite” clients. It gives your business a personality and helps cement YOU in their minds.
While a traditional tri-fold brochure lies flat or stands flimsily in a brochure stand, this piece “stands up when your competition lies down.” (Cute, huh?)

Instructions:
- Print centered on your color printer.
- It’s no accident one side is upside down. Cut out and paste just as it appears on the sheet.
- Fold on dotted line. (Of course this line isn’t visible on the ACTUAL piece.)
The Exploded Business Card is unlike a traditional tri-fold brochure.
It is printed on cardstock so when you fold “They Stand Up when Your Competition Lies Down…”
And they have many, many, uses…So you get one piece (translation – PAY for one piece) and get to use it in a variety of ways.
